These BBTA modules are designed to introduce course participants to the assessment and treatment of adults with neuromuscular dysfunction. The modules consist of theoretical and practical sessions and patient demonstrations.

Therapeutic Frontiers For Mild Traumatic Brain Injury and Post Concussion Syndrome

A 1 day conference for psychologists, doctors, sports medicine teams, medical professionals and AHPs working in the field of neurology to gather a thorough understanding of the impact of Post Concussion Syndrome and mild Traumatic Brain Injury.

Hobbs Rehabilitation are eager to build on current evidence from biological and medical sciences, and from the published work on cognitive and emotional treatment outcomes, to develop robust treatment pathways for clients.

Speakers include special guest Alex Danson MBE, Team GB Hockey Captain along with some of the leading academics and clinicians from sports medicine, neurology, neuropsychology, neuro-physiotherapy and neuro-occupational therapy to share their expertise and experience.

In addition Alex Danson MBE will present her journey post discharge and highligh how, with the appropriate treatment pathway, she has minimised the impact of her condition.

The day will include networking opportunities and lunch will be provided.
