OMEGO®

Robotics

What is OMEGO®?

The OMEGO is a pioneering robotic therapy device that targets gait re-training and is designed for clients with lower limb functional limitations. The device also facilitates training in cardiorespiratory, muscle strength, range of motion, mobilisation, foot lifting, proprioception, symmetry, rhythm and cadence.

Who Can Benefit From Using OMEGO®?

Individuals who have lower limb impairments such as weakness, reduced proprioception and range of movement. The device can be used throughout the rehabilitation journey to build endurance and as a tool to improve gait and balance.

How Does OMEGO® Work?

The OMEGO has specific functions available, each allowing varying levels of assistance or resistance to meet the needs of clients and allow for the progression of treatment. This includes stepper, leg press, sensory training, cycling, ankle joint training and/or rhythm training.

The leg trainer has the additional benefit of linking to a clear screen offering motivating games and visual feedback. Treatment outcomes can be monitored to form part of therapy assessments and track progress.
