We are excited to announce that our new Hobbs Rehabilitation Intensive Neurotherapy Centre is now open at Eden Office Park in Pill, Bristol.
It is the first centre of its kind in the south to combine personalised hands-on therapy with state-of-the-art neurotechnology to inprove the outcomes for patients, often in a much shorter timeframe and with better long-term results than with conventional rehabilitation methods.
Featuring the wholebody Tyrosolution from Tyromotion, including the LEXO® robotic gait trainer, and other assistive technologies such as the MyoPro mechanical upper limb orthosis, this new intensive outpatient service aims to deliver a much higher-dose of therapy several days per week for a period of four to eight weeks.
This enables our expert clinical team to significantly increase the number of repetitions achieved in a short space of time, enhancing carry-over and resulting in patients leaving the programmes at a much higher functional level than when they began.
Whether you have a long-term condition such as Multiple Sclerosis or are living with the side-effects of a stroke, spinal cord or brain injury, this blended programme of treatment and support is goal-oriented and tailored to every individual, helping you reach your full potential more rapidly.
Treatment packages typically range from 40 to 80 hours over a four-to-eight-week period but are entirely dependent on your individual circumstances and goals.
We work with you from the outset to design a flexible programme that best suits your needs and desired outcomes, taking into account where you are in your recovery pathway, whether we need to factor in resting periods to avoid fatigue and your accessibility to the centre.
Most importantly, our intensive rehabilitation programmes are designed to be fun, stimulating and engaging, motivating you to push yourself and achieve results that will reward you in the real-world.
