The Hobbs Paediatric Service growth spurt continues with the introduction of a new provision at Hobbs South West.
Two Specialist Neurological Children's Physiotherapists now operate from the centre which benefits from its own Hydrotherapy pool on site.
Ali Martin :
Ali has been a Paediatric Physiotherapist since 1993 and has worked in a number of hospital and community settings in both the public and private sector. Ali has extensive experience working with all the physical and medical conditions that can affect children and young people during childhood. She is Bobath trained and has particular expertise in Neurodevelopmental disorders (eg Cerebral Palsy), Rheumatology, Musculo Skeletal disorders and Chronic Pain and Chronic Fatigue type issues.
She also has experience of preparing reports for Childrens Education and Health Care Plans and tribunals.
Amber Hewston :
Amber finished her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from California State University in Long Beach in 2010. Amber has experience in working with children of all ages in home, school, and hospital-based settings through working in the UK and the USA.
Amber has experience in providing comprehensive evaluations for a range of neurological, musculoskeletal, and general developmental conditions and has a particular interest in early years work and sensory processing difficulties in children.
