Independent Provider Of Specialist Neurological Rehabilitation Services

Hobbs at Eastleigh

Hobbs at Therapeutics, Eastleigh (near Southampton) offers specialist neurological physiotherapy along with speech and language therapy and occupational therapy plus additional rehabilitation services from other Hobbs Centres. 

Operating from the Therapeutics practice in Eastleigh just off the M27 and M3, this service is headed by Amie Banks, specialist neurological physiotherapist and her clinic will run every Monday morning.  Our pricing structure is the same as the other Hobbs Rehabilitation centres, please ask for our Terms and Conditions before booking.

We accept referrals from a variety of sources including Consultants, General Practitioners, other Health Care Professionals, Case Managers and private individuals.

Amie Banks is a specialist neurological physiotherapist at Hobbs Rehabilitation with a great deal of local experience both at NHS hospitals and within private practice, starting out at a traumatic brain injury centre as a physiotherapy technician whilst qualifying to become a physiotherapist. Once qualified, she completed her rotations in a variety of physiotherapy fields and then chose to specialise in neurology, specifically stroke where she worked on acute stroke and stroke rehabilitation as well as under 65's neurology covering TBI, MS, PD and MND before moving to Hobbs. 

Amie is a keen runner and has led exercise classes specifically for for MS in the past and is also passionate about the latest developments in neurotechnology, bringing access to a host of Hobbs Rehabilitation resources to Therapeutics. 

She has been a keen horse rider for more than 20 years and returns to work having recently had a baby.

VIA M27 JUNTION 5: From the M27 (Junction 5) there are two different routes that can be taken to access Stoneham Lane
Option 1:
From M27 take Junction 5.
At the roundabout take the exit signposted A335 to Southampton.
At the first set of traffic lights (approx half a mile) turn right into Bassett Green Road.
At the next set of traffic lights that you come to turn right into Stoneham Lane.
Continue along the road, underneath the M27 bridge and turn immediately left (signposted Trojans, Therapeutics).
Follow up the road until you see our sign on the left hand side pointing to our carpark on the right.
Option 2:
From M27 take junction 5.
At the roundabout take the exit signposted to sports grounds, Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh Football Club.
The entrance that you need to take is opposite the Concorde Club, but there is no left hand turn allowed here, so you need to continue along the round until you get to the roundabout and double back on yourself back down the same road.
When you get to the Concorde Club take the next right hand turn into Stoneham Lane (signposted Eastleigh Football Club).
Continue along the Stoneham Lane, you will pass St Nicholas Church on your right hand side and then go passed Eastleigh Football Club on your left.
Take the next right turn (just before the M27 bridge) this is signposted Trojans, Therapeutics. Continue on the road until you see our sign on the left hand side.

FROM M3 JUNTION 14:
At the roundabout take 1st exit left, A27 to the airport and crematorium, (Bassett Green Road).
Follow the road for approximately 1 mile through a set of Pedestrian lights.
At the first set of lights turn left onto Stoneham Lane and continue for ½ mile.
Go under the M27 bridge and then turn immediately left.
It is signposted Therapeutics at the bottom of the lane, follow up the road until you see our sign on the left hand side pointing to our car park on the right hand side.

VIA M3:

Head towards the M3 up the Avenue and at the roundabout just before the M3 take the right exit into Bassett Green Road.
Follow the road for approximately 1 mile through a set of pedestrian lights.
At the first set of traffic lights turn left onto Stoneham lane and continue for ½ mile.
Go under the M27 bridge and then turn immediately left.
Therapeutics is signposted at the bottom of the lane, follow up the road until you see the sign on the left hand side pointing to the car park on the right.
