Hobbs Rehabilitation has forged a unique partnership with BMI Healthcare to provide specialist neurological inpatient services at Sarum Road Hospital in Winchester, under the direction of Professor Udo Kischka, Consultant in Neurological Rehabilitation at the Oxford Centre for Enablement, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre NHS Trust, Oxford.

Sarum Road Hospital has 48 beds with all rooms offering the privacy and comfort of en-suite facilities, satellite TV and telephone. The hospital has two theatres, a day care unit and a high dependency unit.

Under the terms of this unique arrangement, Sarum Road Hospital will partner with Hobbs Rehabilitation to treat patients with complex needs resulting from neurological injury or illness on an in patient basis.   All programmes will be based on the clinical needs of each individual patient, which will be determined by a multi-disciplinary assessment prior to admission.   Realistic objectives will be clearly defined and agreed with the patient and his/her family.   Follow up out patient care is also available.
